Bids for potential sale of the Class 59/2 locomotives by DB Cargo were to be submitted by 10th July. 4 of the 6 locomotives are believed to be running on low tyres.
Some indications over the future plan for Mendip operations seem to be expected by end of July, meanwhile 60001 and 60024 arrived at Westbury on Friday 12th.
