66730 Whitemoor + 66797 6V41 14:48 Eastleigh - Westbury.


The train ran through platform 2.

Until now, 66797, has been rather elusive in these parts, only previously being noted on a Scunthorpe rail working in April. It arrived from Hoo, then hitched this ride, before a CE working 6G71 18:18 Westbury Down T.C. - Troed-y-Rhiw, 6G71 05:15 Abercynon - Westbury Down T.C.  In the past, numbered 513-9 then 513-09, it is builder number EMD 20038513-9.

The consist was of MRA wagons, a type now under conversion to type JNA-Y. 501330 was the trailing wagon, built in 2004 by Trinity Astra Vagoane, Romania.
