60055 'Thomas Barnardo' at Dunbridge, 10th December 2019

DC Rail, part of Cappagh, are back in the area for another set of the Westbury to Southampton Up Yard cycles.

For Monday to Thursday
6Z91 15:24 Westbury Down T.C. to Southampton Up Yard

For Tuesday to Friday
6Z90 07:49 Southampton Up Yard to Westbury Down T.C. (this path is scheduled over where the SWR Chandlers Ford line would normally see a train)

The morning train is seen passing Dunbridge, on 10th December, in rather poor light.

The JNA wagons are new, but some already bear some graffiti (which happened before arrival in the UK).

60055 was stored at Crewe from November 2008, and sold to DCR from November 2018, then moved to Toton on 25th March 2019. Load bank tested at Toton on 10th November, then test run to Leicester on 14th, starting to see test on trains from the 20th. Released to traffic on Friday 6th December, initially light engine to Carlisle, from where it ran to Boston, after which it worked to Willesden to pick up the wagons for this working.

The JNAs are from a group being leased out by VTG, delivered in late November. Each day they are shuffled because of the shunt procedure at Up Yard.
