50008 of Hanson & Hall, 0Z76 1450 Bury East Lancs Railway to Leicester L.I.P.

Earlier the locomotive had brought 50015 back to the East Lancs after the recent Severn Valley Class 50 Gala.

150129 wears the ex-First Great Western look while in Northern Railway service to Buxton. The unit was transferred on the 3rd February.

Stockport No. 1 & No.2 signal boxes. No 1 is of LNWR 4 pattern completed in 1884. It is said that when changes were made in 2008 "Rail Track imported mechanical locking experts from Indian railways because it was thought there were not sufficient of them in UK.  ". No.2 is understood to be older, from 1870, and the Italian signalling story is also told.
