37667 FLOPSIE was eadied for 5Z38 09:35 Eastleigh Arlington - Great Yarmouth on 13th. The HST trailer between the barriers was TFB 40902. For export?


Preserved 313201 was alongside 37667.

The consist was of 2022-23 delivered JNA wagons in the 81.70.5932.757-4 to 806-9 series. 81.70.5932.765-7 was the last wagon.

The last of 25 IIA biomass wagons was 83.70.0698.122-4.

60103 Flying Scotsman, near Hillend, between Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay, with 1Z23 09:41 Edinburgh - Aberdeen.


Rather closer to the camera. A1 and A3s were first seen in these parts in the 1920s.


Running through Dalgety Bay station.

Both former East Coast power-cars, 43274 (above) and 43277 Safety Task Force (below), ran through Aberdour with 1Q26 13:45 Edinburgh - Slateford Depot

North Yorkshire Moors Railway, 4th September 2023 - Part 3: Diesel traction

 

~Recent arrival at the NYMR, 31466, arriving at Goathland from Pickering. The locomotive had a horn fault, constantly emanating a single tone from the front of the locomotive.


Having come off the train at Grosmont, 31466 was sent to the shed. Various noises indicated that the horn valve was being twiddled with, but not enough to quickly clear the problem.

D7628 (25278) was spare at Grosmont, and came off the shed to substitute for 31466.

31128 came off a train from Whitby at Grosmont.
