Freightliner Take Over the Gypsum Traffic, Millbrook, 3rd October 2024

66508 brought 19 JNA-T wagons down overnight, starting on 2nd October: 4O88 19:50 York Holgate Siding (Flhh) - Millbrook Hants..F.L.T.

The wagons are leased from Ermewa, and all have painted out 'GBRf' markings. I believe that they were working in East West Rail infrastructure trains..

On the afternoon of 3rd October, 66508 worked 17 wagons from Millbrook to Western Docks. The train worked as 4Z88 14:33 Millbrook Hants..F.L.T. - Southampton W.Docks Flhh, but changed route, away from Maritime, to run through Southampton Central to then run-round at Up Yard  and then back to enter Western Docks.

66508  subsequently reported working 6Y83 18:19 Southampton W.Docks Flhh - Tonbridge West Yard.

19 JNA-T wagons, leased from Ermewa, in Millbrook Yard. The train was formed from the 17 closer wagons.

66508 City of Doncaster arrived from Maritime.

66508 draws forward with 4Z88.

Then waits for a signal to leave Millbrook Yard.

Onto the main line, and a long pause alongside Up Loop before working to Up Yard.

JNA-T wagon 81.70.5500.574-5 marked for Ermewa, but with fresh paint on 4 panels where 'GBRf' has been painted over.

After 90 minutes, and the run-round, 66508 brings the rake back, to enter Western Docks.

81.70.5500.525-7 was then the rear JNA wagon, again showing the fresh paint on four panels.
