Traction at Lokomotion, Kufstein, Austria, 3rd and 7th June 2026

Looking rather interesting, a workshop for the Lokomotion company, notable for its 'zebra' livery scheme, which focuses upon working freight across the Alps, in association with Rail Traction Company of Italy. The workshop was opened in 2020. Notable among the locomotives outside were a number of 1950s generation Class 139 electric locomotives. Sorry that these are only mobile phone pictures.

189 822-0 (Siemens 21617 model ES 64 F4 of 2011, full number 91 80 6189 822-0 D-LM), in a DB red from previous operation, seen on 3rd June. This started life as a hire locomotive, was then sold to DB Cargo in 2017, and then to Lokomotion in 2025.

139 213-3 (Krauss-Maffei, 18478, full number 91 80 6139 213-3 D-LM), at right, was built in 1958.

139 133 -3 (Krauss-Maffei, 18544, full number 91 80 6139 133-3 D-LM) was built in 1959.

Next to it is 185 515-4 (Bombardier TRAXX F140 AC1 33523, full number 91 80 6185 515-4 D-ATLD) of 2002. "They have never found a long term home and 185515 is currently on hire to Lokomotion - the latest in a long line of operators."

The next loco was similar 185 525-3 (Bombardier TRAXX F140 AC1 33592, full number 91 80 6185 525-3 D-ATLU) of 2003.

And then Vectron MS 193 772-1 (Siemens 22187 of 2016, full number 91 80 6193 772-1 D-LM).

Under the Kufstein Fortress and the Festungsarena, lay this further view, starting with 139 555-7 (Henschel, 91 80 6139 555-7 D-LM, built 1964).

Vectron MS 193 773-9 (Siemens 22197 of 2017, full number 91 80 6193 773-9 D-LM).

Vectron MS X4 E-647 (Siemens 22171 of 2016, full number 91 80 6193 647-5 D-DISPO).

Vectron MS 193 282-1 (Siemens 22276 of 2017, full number 91 80 6193 282-1 D-ELOC) in special 'Ellorean' scheme of ELL (European Locomotive Leasing)

139 555-7 again, on 7th, with 139 260-4 (Krauss-Maffei 18967 full number 91 80 6139 260-4 D-LM) of 1963.

474 201 on accommodation boiges, identified using this picture. Like the Class 189, this is a Siemens ES 64 F4 (Siemens 21233, full number 91 83 2474 201-7 I-LM, of 2005). Originally intended for SBB Cargo, it went to work for Nordcargo, which eventually became DB Cargo Italia. It was sold to Lokomotion in early 2026, as a spare parts donor.

139 133 -3 as also seen un the first picture.
