Mendip Rail are taking on new HOA hopper wagons leased from VTG, painted in blue, as seen in France. 34 wagons arrived on Monday 5th, numbered in the 81.70.6774.xxx-x series, following on from the 2020 delivered red Touax series. Seen here on delivery to Westbury. They entered traffic by Wednesday 7th one two . VTG have an order for 203 wagons, which will replace the Yeoman and Hanson JHA series built 1988 - 1990. A scrap delivery to EMR Attercliffe planned for 13th is said to be planned for 15 JHA wagons - not confirmed and may not be from Mendip Rail. The Yeoman wagons currently operate at night to Eastleigh and Fareham.
