GB Railways: MP bids to base major railway organisation's HQ in Eastleigh & on his website. A perspective: a MP puts in a letter to the Transport Secretary, and then grandstands to his constituents via the media. In turn the "competition" has been created by the government to allow multiple MPs to do just the same and gain managed media exposure. The press fall in, especially when they need content. Many of the jobs involved already exist and currently appear to be located in Milton Keynes. Perhaps GB Railways may look to embrace WFH / mobile for the future?
