442408, 442411, 442413, 442414, 442415, 442418 and 442422, all ac equipment, are understood to await removal from Bournemouth. An unidentified set of coaches is reported as having started to flow by road from Wolverton to Sims, Newport.

800106 with 1W20 14:00 Kings Cross - Aberdeen, Aberdour, 26th May.

800108 with 1W11 10:00 Kings Cross - Aberdeen, Aberdour, 28th May.

800109 with 1W11 10:00 Kings Cross - Aberdeen, Aberdour, 2nd June. This unit was recently returned to traffic following repairs after the Leeds collision and derailment on 13th November 2019.

800103 at Inverkeithing with 1W11 10:00 Kings Cross - Aberdeen, 3rd June. That completes all of my 800/1's !

Yaw damper and jack point detail of PDTS 811103 of 800103. This area is where the recently found cracks have occurred. 800104 and 800105 are understood to not be in traffic.

And once again 800106, with 1W11 10:00 Kings Cross - Aberdeen on 9th June, crossing an 1890 built bridge near Aberdour, now entering into a three month repair activity (the bridge works are by Taziker).

Locomotives in Fife, May - June 2021

The empty cement working from Aberdeen Craiginches to Oxwellmains has often been running in the later path, after dark, but on 26th May, 70802 worked 6B32 16:52 from Craiginches, seen passing Aberdour.

73970 (73103, E6009 English Electric Vulcan Foundry, October 1965) passes Inverkeithng as 0Z74 14:53 Edinburgh - Aberdeen Clayhills Car.M.D., 3rd June.

27001 on the last turn of the day, Bo'ness, 30th May 2021

The first operating weekend for the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway since 2019, and similarly the first diesel turn. 27001 had a main generator repair at Sulzer in Larbert, which has now been refitted to the locomotive, and this was its first passenger turn.

27001 was new as D5347 on 30th June 1961, entering traffic at 62A Thornton Junction, but only for a short period before transfer to Eastfield on 29th July that year. Withdrawn at 26 years old, on 8th July 1987, and has subsequently spent almost 34 years in preservation, at Brechin and now Bo'ness.

The first two pictures are at Snab, when working to Manuel.

The second pair of pictures are at Corbiehall, when returning to Bo'ness.
