66610 6H59 11:53 Ashburys S.S. - Dowlow Quarry Flhh - the only regular freight working along the former LNWR line to Buxton, where the loaded train is routed via Guide Bridge.

The train was mainly formed of 'new' wagons, mainly of the MWA-C type, built by WH Davis, re-utilising running gear from redundant Freightliner coal hoppers, and with a different rib structure from the Greenbrier MWA and MWA-B series. 81.70.5891.707-8 appears to have entered traffic in late August 2025.

Also in the rake were some of the Porterbrook financed WH Davis speculative build in 2024 of JNA-Z wagons, previously seen at Barrow Hill on 7th June. 81.70.5932.850-7 was moved to Dowlow to enter traffic at the end of that month.

The VTG leased JNA wagons are similar to those in Mendips traffic, although these appeared to be single-pipe air brake. The last Greenbrier / Astra JNA wagon in the rake was 81.70.5500.757-6, delivered June 2020.
