Unfortunately not the finest hour on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The rostered locomotive, 43924, failed and blocked the line at Oakworth. The railbus ran some Keighley to Damems shuttles until this was cleared, with 43924 deposited into the yard at Oakworth. 37075 then took over the service for "Tractor Action" through the afternoon.

 Through the railbus window in the morning, 43924 is prepared for service at Haworth.

D0226 recovered 43924 to the loco shed.

Some scratching of heads takes place, The failure was understood to be a steam manifold gasket, and the locomotive was back in traffic the next day.
