WD 75019 (Hunslet 2868 of 1943, rebuilt as 3883 of 1962) Lord Phil at platform 2 at Matlock.

31270 now named Athena operates the other end of the train in push-pull mode. New from Brush as D5800 in June 1961, allocated to 31B March. Withdrawn in May 1995 and preserved since May 2000.
First of class D9500 (BR Swindon, July 1964) withdrawn in April 1969, for service with the NCB. Now in the Andrew Briddon collection.
37152 was new from English Electric Vulcan Foundry in July 1963, allocated to Landore. Withdrawn in December 1999, and sold in June 2005, initially at Carnforth from January 2006 and moved to Peak Rail in June that year. 37188 lies beyond.
Class 04 D2272 new in March 1958 to 55A Leeds Holbeck, and withdrawn in October 1970 for usage at Blackburn Coal Concentration Depot.
