70002 4O27 00:08 Garston - Maritime. This train sat for a few hours at Crewe, likely a one-time requirement for engineering works.

7V41 with Colas Kirow 125 tonne crane at Romsey, 4th May 2018

Only a few minutes ahead of the "last" Hamworthy stone empties, 66075 passes with 7V41 14:47 Eastleigh - Westbury, running with a 45mph speed limit, and including an interesting Kirow 125 tonne crane in Colas colours. It is understood that this worked earlier 6O41 10:14 Westbury - Eastleigh via Chandler's Ford, so this became a turning move.

66075 leads the consist.

OCA 112209 (BREL Shildon, 1981-82) may have been running as some kind of match wagon.

DB 979113 was originally a YRA 'Perch' Continuous Welded Rail Wagon, but is seeing use as a crane beam carrying wagon.

There then followed a set of IFA Switch & Crossing Carriers of which this is 37.70.9228.042-1 built by Kirow in 2014.

I have seen the 125 tonne ZOA crane DRK81612 (Kirow, 2006) and its runners CN 97416-18 before, on 10th July 2014. The runner seen nearest here is KFA CN 97418, built (rebuilt ?) by Thrall Europa in 2006.

The "last" Hamworthy Stone, Dunbridge, 4th May 2018

59203 7O51 06:11 Westbury - Hamworthy

The loaded stone working was hauled by 59203, as an STP working, passing Dunbridge at 07:25.

The light was much further to the right than I expected, Dunbridge station is towards a NW - SE alignment.

Two views of 66132 which has received modifications to the cab window and sidesheet before repaint and rebranding for GBRf as 66785. While GBRf have applied these modifications in the past, they were not yet performed for the current ex-DBC group,although the rear view mirrors were removed. The modifications appear to have been made at Longport. The locomotive was transferred Peterborough - Whitemoor - Hoo Jct - Eastleigh over the weekend of 28th April.
