Special Train Workings at Eastleigh, 17th September 2011

 47841 + 47802 Pride of Cumbria arrive at Eastleigh as 0Z58 09:04 from Crewe Gresty Bridge

 47841 departs the carriage sidings with the Cruise Saver rake. It will be working inside tomorrow - word is that it isn't over reliable.

 47802 also hasn't worked much recently - could have had multi problems? Leaving Eastleigh for Eastern Docks with 5Z60 Eastleigh - Eastern Docks.

 67030 at one end of 5Z89 16:30 Eastleigh to Chichester (for Goodwood Festival).

The train was timetabled to sit in Eastleigh Yard for over an hour. 67016 on the rear, with 57310 to the right.

70000 leads support coach 35465 (Wolverton 1963) at Crampmoor, with the return "Pompey Pacific" to Taunton

A side view of 70000 in action. It has handrails on the smoke deflectors, reflecting its early 1950s condition, but has AWS and an air brake pump in this 2011 guise. Not all Britannias had the smoke deflectors removed in BR service days.
