66953 attached to a weekend civil engineering working.


DRP 81525 is a Plasser & Theurer heavy duty diesel hydraulic crane (number 5523 of 1981). Replacements for these cranes are now on order.


66420 was at the other end.


67024 arriving with Belmond Pullman empty-stock, 5Z83 10:57 Chichester - Eastleigh Trsmd, via a reversal in the East Yard.


66727 Maritime One bringing in wagon flats for weekend storage, an early running 4B46 14:49 from Western Docks.


70005 4O27 06:49 Basford Hall - Maritime.


67021 continues with 5Z83, coming out of the East Yard.


66733 6G14 13:01 Eastleigh - Tinsley Green


701010, 701023, 701030 and 701048, the latter brought back from storage, Long Marston - Wimbledon on 22nd August.

Belmond workings in Fife, 3rd June 2024

 


The Royal Scotsman, 1H79 1345 Edinburgh - Montrose, as a 'Homes & Gardens' itinerary passing Hillend, with 66746 approaching Dalgety Bay station.

Newly introduced coach "316" 'State Car No. 1', which has replaced 99961. 316 is believed to have been rebuilt from 316 Magpie, and is the second example with the replacement window design.


67024 leading The British Pullman through Aberdour, working as 1Z60 15:42 Edinburgh - Gleneagles. This appears to have been for a Dior fashion event, held between Gleneagles and Drummond Castle, with extended ECS workings from and to Stewarts Lane.


Car 280 AUDREY, built by Metropolitan C&W in 1932 for 'The Brighton Belle'.

Belmond British Pullman, Eastleigh, 2nd August 2019


5Z88 12:02 Chichester - Eastleigh Trsmd
5Z89 17: 05 Eastleigh Trsmd - Chichester

With reversals in the East Yard for each movement, leading to four runs of the Belmond British Pullman through the station at Eastleigh.

 67021 leads from the East Yard with the incoming train.

67024 heading towards East Yard from the T&RSMD with the return to Chichester.

281 GWEN was built in 1932 by the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co for the 'Brighton Belle' 5-BEL emu  2053 (later 3053).

99545 is now a Support Car 'Baggage Car No.11'. Originally BSK 35466 completed at Wolverton in 1963 as part of Lot 30721. Converted in April 1987 to a NNX Courier Vehicle 80207 - for BRUTE traffic. To VSOE and renumbered 99545 in March 1995. Originally this coach road on Commonwealth bogies but now runs on B5.

67028 leads 1Z58 08:32 Victoria - Southampton Central VSOE.
 66238 running with 4Z53 11:33 Eastleigh - Redbridge - Laverstock - Didcot for holding, following arrival at  Eastleigh with 4O53 04:53 Wakefield - Eastleigh. This train may be expected to forward on Monday to Western Docks.
67020 heads 5Z60 11:50 Southampton Central - Stewarts Lane VSOE empty stock.
66590 with 4O27 05:26 Garston - Maritime.

Special Train Workings at Eastleigh, 17th September 2011

 47841 + 47802 Pride of Cumbria arrive at Eastleigh as 0Z58 09:04 from Crewe Gresty Bridge
 47841 departs the carriage sidings with the Cruise Saver rake. It will be working inside tomorrow - word is that it isn't over reliable.
 47802 also hasn't worked much recently - could have had multi problems? Leaving Eastleigh for Eastern Docks with 5Z60 Eastleigh - Eastern Docks.
 67030 at one end of 5Z89 16:30 Eastleigh to Chichester (for Goodwood Festival).
The train was timetabled to sit in Eastleigh Yard for over an hour. 67016 on the rear, with 57310 to the right.
