Yellow coach test trains, including the NMT, are planned to be replaced from February 2027.
KFAs for scrap: 23 of the former Tiphook / Touax flats which were used by Freightliner Intermodal until early 2023, were removed from storage at Barassie on 23rd April, firstly to Carlisle and then on to Crewe. A final move, on 11th May, took them to EMR at Liverpool, for disposal. These Touax KFAs were often overhauled, while the fleet was in use, at Arlington in Eastleigh Works. Included in the formation were:
TIPH 93484 at Millbrook, 6th February 2023, just prior to storage.
TIPH 93456 (nearer) being returned to Maritime by 66509, after attention at Eastleigh Works, 16th August 2018.
