Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch, 24th October 2011

A day spent in and around the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch, parking at New Romney. It's a full day, especially if you want to wander around Dungeness.

4-8-2 No.5 Hercules in Midland Red on the turntable at New Romney at the start of the day
Hercules ready for the off with a 2 coach 09:35 New Romney - Hythe (but loadings grew during the sunny mid-term day).
No. 11 Black Prince is coaled at New Romney for its first train of the day.
Hercules ready for the off from Hythe with the suitably long 10:30 to Dungeness, a 1h5m journey.
Black Prince arrives at Hythe with the 10:35 from New Romney.
Following it's scheduled pause at Dungeness, Black Prince is seen leaving with 13:00 to Hythe.
No. 8 Hurricane approaches its destination with 13:30 Hythe - Dungeness
Entering the station with its loop (for second trains as Dungeness has a run around circle).
Hurricane, finished in Caledonian Blue, during its layover at Dungeness.
Black Prince has completed its day, having made two return trips along the line, and returning to New Romney.
