Cruise Saver Express - Millbrook, 19th June 2011

 47810 + 47501 on 1Z52 10:30 Western Docks - Edinburgh, departing about 30 mins late. It was in Edinburgh on time. 

47810 + 47501 creep for the signal at Millbrook - they did not have to wait long

57004 departs light engine 0Z53 11:59 Western Docks - (Crewe) - Gresty Bridge (on time, waited for one hour in the docks). In the event the locomotive went no further than Eastleigh and was in position for the 23rd June working.

ECS for Cruise Saver Express - Eastleigh, 18th June 2011

 57004 does its two-stroke thing over Eastleigh, as it did many times when with Freightliner. It was once 47347.

 57004 comes out of its stabling at the works

 47810 + 47501 edge the ECS out of the sidings, with the 57 on the rear.

Close up of the new nameplate on 47810, previously Porterbrook and Captain Sensible. This locomotive hauled the last 'Bournemouth Belle' on 9th July 1967 when allocated to Eastleigh.
