Clearance work has commenced at
Belvers Bridge on Weston Lane, between Redbridge and Nursling. The intention here is to build a new bridge to the south of that existing, on the site of former crossing seen here. The contractor is again Carillion, who recently rebuilt the Ashfield Bridge closer to Romsey.
