37261 made its own way to Barrow Hill for stripping on 20th one two . It travelled with 47802, which itself was stored into pool XHSS, and may become a carriage heater at Kingmoor.
However with the coming of the Class 68 fleet of 15 locomotives, we should anticipate reduction of the DRS Class 47 numbers with 47832 being another rumoured candidate. The 10 remaining fleet members are:
